Parks

Within half an hour’s drive of the villa are the main Disney parks—Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios, along with the two water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

A little further away, but just as easy to get to, are SeaWorld and Discovery Cove (where you can swim with dolphins!), and go a little further to find Universal Studios and the Islands Of Adventure.

 

Shopping

There is a large Walmart only a couple of minutes down the road from the villa, and a second only ten minutes drive in the other direction. If you take a trip down Highway 192 which is only five minutes away, there are innumerable smaller stores and places to eat, as well as a couple of crazy golf courses.

For those who crave bigger and better shopping experiences, the largest mall in Florida, the Florida Mall, is less than an hours drive away. A little closer to home are the Eagle Ridge Mall, and the West Oaks Mall, both of which are sure to keep you occupied for the entire day. And for those who want to combine a shopping and late-night party, then the Downtown Disney resort is also a relatively short drive away.

 

Golf

For those people who want to experience the number one sport in Florida, there are over 20 professional golf courses within easy reach of the villa, including the Disney courses that host a large number of PGA Tour events, and are a challenge for even the most experienced golfers. But don’t worry—even beginners and amateurs can find a course to suit them; there are so many to choose from!

 

Restaurants

Whether your just out looking for a snack, or looking for a place to have your evening meal, then you’re never too far away from the perfect place to eat. Within a stone’s throw of the villa are several excellent restaurants to have a meal at, and also a couple of snack food places such as Dunkin’ Donuts and Subway. Down Highway 192 is where all the action is, with an Australian Outback, Red Lobster, IHOP, Pizza Hut and more all within a few hundred feet of each other. So remember, not matter what kind of food you’re looking for, you’re less than ten minutes away from it! And if that’s still too far for you, then there’s always the option of ordering a takeaway from the multitude of fast food shops.
